Quote of the day: "102.1 Harmison to Ponting, no run, wide and Ponting has to stretch to reach it. "Harmison couldn't hit an elephant from 20 paces?" was Jeff Thomson's assessment earlier. Guess it depends on the size of the elephant." - baggygreen.com

Just a quick bit of fun...

Just a quick bit of fun. I actually found this video by clicking on of the advertisments on my site. Its nice to know I have a quasi useful ad every now and again.

Perhaps its silly of me to link this directly for this very reason, but its still worth sharing. So enjoy

There are some clever people out there.

I'm trying to see if my all time favourite storewars is on youtube, if it is I'll add it once I find it.

And pertinent.

Am I the only one who is amazed at the momentum the global warming debate has gotten over the last 3-4 months.

I'm not saying that its not a valid cause, infact I think it's finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Its just that for ages it was nothing - nothing - nothing - EVERYONES A GREENIE!

Well, I'm not very politically oriented, but I've always been a fan of taking care of the planet and our environment. Without our natural resources, what have we?

It seems to me that after every natural disaster, more attention is focused on the conditions of our planet... at least that's how it appears here in the U.S. - It's a shame that it takes something like a tsunami or a hurricaine to make people wonder what consequences our actions may have.

Thats quasi amusing because things like Tsunami and hurricanes are those which are least out of our control.

Its stuff like acid rain, the ongoing extinction of animals and ever increasing temperatures that really should be getting our ire.

But ultimately who cares why people are motivated as long as they are motivated right?

Personally I think Al Gore did the world a favour by losing the election 2 years ago. If he won I doubt he would've had the time for 'his little slide show' that's been playing in cinemas for ages, I know this has helped mobilise alot of support because all of a sudden its not just some random scientist but a political person in power.

Its also funny how we'd trust a politician over a scientist considering it's the scientists area of expertise, but thats another aside.

I dig it.

I'm not familiar with the dude, but there's SO MANY like him.

Yeah I'm not familiar with him either.

Apparently he's the Leader of the Opposition in Victoria, but as you said its not so much the individual but the message.
