Quote of the day: "102.1 Harmison to Ponting, no run, wide and Ponting has to stretch to reach it. "Harmison couldn't hit an elephant from 20 paces?" was Jeff Thomson's assessment earlier. Guess it depends on the size of the elephant." - baggygreen.com

Some of my work: Zombie

In a slight change of pace, I thought I'd show the orble community a bit of my own work.

The following is a short film I was involved in during uni. It was the first major short I worked on and is still one of my favourites.

Let me know if you like it, I might just be persuaded to add a couple more online.

ZOMBIE by Phil Lesnie is in my opinion one of the best , if not THE best, of the short film entries I have seen in Tropfest and Sundance (2005-2007). 5-star rating for genre, content, costume/makeup, music and cinematography considering this was 'merely' a university film production.

I have seen some other works by Phil Lesnie, including:

1. the Sydney Theatre Company stage production of his winning entry to Sydney Morning Herald's Playwright competition (2002), The Protagonist, when Phil was in still in high school. Absolutely professional!

2. Sydney Art Express and Harrington Gallery exhibitions of his sketches (2003-2004).

Remarkable accomplishments by a very young and budding but topnotch story board artist and film maker/writer/director. I wish Phil Lesnie all the success he deserves in the industry where he can express his genius in the arts close to his heart.
